I Don't Want to Do Business with a Christian Business!
Fine, tell me which Christian principle you do not want to be a part of our business dealings:
- Don't be honest
- Don't let my word be my bond
- Is it ok to steal from you? ... To take from you what you have rightfully earned?
- Do you really want to do business with me if I don't believe that I will be held accountable for any bad actions I take in business?
- Do you believe you should be treated fairly? On what do you base this expectation of fairness?
Please tell me which of these principles are inappropriate to running a business or which you would not appreciate in your business relationships?
In truth, The Bible lays out the way to conduct business fairly. It tells us that a
worker is worthy of his or her hire. It tells us not to muzzle the ox when it is running the
mill, The principles or sowing and reaping, of thrift and planning for the future, of laying
up wealth in the store house to prepare for the future, of treating everyone fairly and the relationship between borrower and lender.
